What is your connection to education/teaching?: I teach in the Freshmen House at Desert View High School in Tucson, AZ, as part of a team of core content teachers--English, Math, and Science--and I am working on developing curriculum at the freshmen and junior levels for my district. Freshman are enormously exciting and challenging students to work with and I love being pushed out of my comfort zone! I hope this Ning will help with ideas for working with my advisory students, who are all freshmen within my house, as well as students in my three sections of Freshmen English classes.
