Thanks for commenting, Tina. I'm with you. That really needs to be the focus of each of our classrooms. Think of the combined impact that ALL of a young person's teacher could have if they all made that their focus.

I WISH I COLD TAKE THE PAIN OF EVERY CHILD AWAY! SO MANY HURT MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY EACH DAY AND THEY CAN FIND NO ROOM IN THEIR LIVES FOR ONE OF THE VERY THINGS THAT WILL HELP THEM TO ESCA;PE. I HAVE BEEN WHERE THEY ARE AT, AND HOPE DOES NOT COME EASILY WHEN YOU FEAR FOR YOUR LIFE OR WONDER IF YOUR LITTLE BROTHER IS OK.......WE NEED A PROGRAM THAT SHOWS THERE IS A WAY OUT, JUST HOLD ON!
