Taylor Swift - Fifteen
Taylor Swift is very popular these days and her recent song Fifteen does a good job of painting a picture of the freshman year. This song would be a good one to share with your students as a way to start a discussion. The song describes 15-year olds making decisions based on the here-and-now with little regard to the future.
