Member of the Freshman Transition Network who have attended a Solutions, etc. Freshman Transition conference or who have read The Ninth Grade Opportunity are very familiar with Ray Moore and his passion for life.  You may not know, though, that for the past year Ray has been battling cancer.  Below is a link to a recent story in the Roanoke Times about Ray, his healing, and his purpose-driven life.
