Richie Parker: No Victim Statements Allowed!

My goodness - if you don't share this with your students you are absolutely missing an amazing opportunity!

The capabilities of the human spirit are beyond what many of our students can comprehend. Use them this video to teach them the power of believing, to show them what it looks like to not allow yourself to be a victim, to show them what it looks like to live a great story!

Such an incredible story of the human spirit!!  Talk about a growth mind-set!!  WOW!!   "I never say I can't do something... there's just things I haven't done YET!"  Truly inspiring!!

Thank you for sharing!!!!

I agree, Kaitlin!  I thought of you when I heard that.  The word "YET" brings up Kaitlin Nelson in my mind.

My favorite quote in this video goes along with my classroom rule: No one is allowed to say "I don't get it" or "I can't do it" ... UNLESS they end that sentence with the word YET.

Quote from video: "I don't know that there's a whole lot in life that I'd say I can't do, just thing that I haven't done yet."
