Do Your Children Know What You Do at Work? Probably Not

I recently wrote an article entitled Do Your Children Know What You Do at Work? Probably Not which appears in this month's edition of the Rhode Island Small Business Journal (RISBJ).

I address the concern that children do not know what their parents do at work (as illustrated by the That's My Mom Game).  I also discuss Take Our Daughters and Son's To Work Day (R)Career Explorations and From College to Career, programs which can be run for business to help students better understand the work place.

The article ought to be of interest to faculty working with students from grades 5 to 12.
